Karen's last day

Today, was a sad day at work for me. The best manager I've ever had, was leaving me. She's still technically with the company, but moving to a different area. I will miss her so. She was a great mentor and friend, and I doubt I'll ever have someone as awesome as her.

So of course, I had to help make her last day special. My other friend from work, Maribeth, helped me plan a little going away potluck for her, and I created a little photobook for everyone to sign. It was great to see all the people who came in to say their well wishes and goodbyes. And I got to bake my salted caramel cupcakes again, always good learning experience.. lol.
