Mini Baby Sprinkle
I had gone back and forth with Irwin about whether we should have a baby sprinkle this time around, but I wasn't feeling all that great (mostly feeling blah), so a party didn't sound like a good idea. Plus, I felt we had a lot of baby stuff that we could definitely re-use, with the exception of boy clothes, but even then I had been selective about Faith's clothes in her infancy and had a lot of gender neutral clothes. So technically we could make do with what we already have. But I did feel bad about not having even a small celebration for the baby, and after discussing it further with my friends, I decided it would at least be great to have one last hurrah with my closest girlfriends and have brunch. It happened to be a GORGEOUS Spring day in the bay area, so it was nice to get dressed up for brunch. We went to the The Hideout Kitchen & Cafe in Walnut Creek. It was SO delicious, and we were lucky enough to get seated outside where we could really enjoy the weather. G
